Botany & Conservation Science Field Trip

The Botany and Conservation Science classes visited Hiram College’s 600-acre Biological Field Station for a guided tour and a presentation on the research conducted there. Students learned about ongoing ecological studies, including forest and prairie management as well as insect and plant research. In addition, they discovered that Hiram is one of only four sites worldwide—and the most successful—participating in a program to breed endangered duck species.
