Congratulations to Rootstown senior Alaina Huebner who has been selected as the recipient of the Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award winner for Portage County! Alaina received this prestigious award in Columbus on April 15th. The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award is presented to one senior from each county and Alaina is the Portage County winner for this year. Congratulations Alaina!! πŸ‘πŸ‘
Congratulations to Tom Siciliano for 35 years on the Rootstown Board of Education. The Ohio School Board Association recently presented Tom with a plaque in recognition of his 35 years of service. We thank Tom for his continued dedication to the students of Rootstown! πŸ’™
Yesterday's cancelled Board of Education Meeting is now rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17 at 5:30PM in the Rootstown Middle School Cafeteria. This is a Regular Meeting and is open to the public. We hope to see you there!
The Portage County Art Show is in full swing, and we are incredibly proud of our students for their contributions and awards!
