Students in Mr. Herzog’s Physical Science class recently did an activity after learning about Newton’s Third Law of Motion. They were given limited materials and asked to make a balloon car as an engineering challenge. The cars were measured by their distance traveled. The best cars displayed good working axles, even frictionless wheels, and a support to keep the balloon from dragging or getting stuck. The winning car this year travelled 34’2″
