Shout Out To Our Cross Country Students

Sep 3, 2024 | Middle School News

This email came to me from a spectator at the Marlington Invitation this past weekend and I thought you should know!

“Just wanted to say you have some great students at your school.  I am a grandmother of a runner from Tallmadge and witnessed a very heartwarming scene.  As I was leaving the meet Saturday one of your students was the last one coming in from the race (a lonely place to be).  Suddenly your whole team came alongside him and began running with him and encouraging him with their words. Such a nice thing to witness!  Please pass on to the coach, parents etc… what a difference they are making not just to their fellow students but to many others who witnessed their kindness.  I hope you have a great school year!”

Thank you students for a job well done!

Mr. Kennedy
