School Counseling

My name is Amelia Mohan and I have been the school counselor at Rootstown Middle School for 10 years. Before becoming a school counselor, I was a middle school science teacher at a Catholic school in Akron. I am absolutely lucky to get to be with these amazing children each and every day! My counseling program consists of assisting students with the academic, personal and emotional aspects of navigating middle school and beyond. Any student can request to meet with me or they can be referred by a teacher, administrator, or parent. I encourage you to reach out to me if you have any concerns regarding your child.
